What to Look for in an Outdoor Refrigerator

Outdoor Refrigerators - Backyard barbeques have come a long way in the past decade. With the trend going toward backyard kitchens, everything you use in the kitchen is finding its way outdoors. Even if you aren't doing a full blown outdoor kitchen, a refrigerator is a handy way to provide easy access to drinks and snacks outdoors, without the having to ice down a cooler or drink tub. It also lets you keep meet fresh until you are ready to start grilling.
Important Note: Retailers sometimes list refrigerators as "outdoor refrigerators" even when they are not designed for outdoor use. An outdoor refrigerator should be specifically built for and UL approved for use outdoors. Even when housed in an outdoor kitchen, electrical devices should be UL approved for outdoor use.
