Palo Alto, CA, August 25th, 2009 We all know maintenance chores around our home are piling up. There are plenty of reasons that we let them go, but now there are a few less excuses. Not knowing when, how often or even how to do the maintenance is no longer a problem. Acme How To's newsletter will remind you each month of household maintenance tasks tailored to the season and month. The newsletter details suggested regular, periodic, seasonal and special item maintenance. Do you know when to fertilize the lawn? Is your answer something like "Spring..ish"? A friendly reminder when it is the right time, takes away the burden of keeping track.

Changing furnace filters, cleaning out rain gutters, inspecting the roof, replacing weather-stripping; these are things a homeowner has to do, but when, or how? The newsletter provides a timely reminder along with links to a library of articles on how to (and also why) do the maintenance tasks.

Sure, no one needs an extra set of chores to take care of, but with this task list, it makes it a lot easier to stay on top of what you should be doing already. Acme How To.com Launches Home Theater Section

Palo Alto, CA, May 16th 2005 - Internet publisher Acme How To.com announced the opening of the newest wing in its library of home maintenance and repair articles. In a departure from their repair-centric focus, they have added a new index of articles focused on choosing, setting-up and using a home theater.

Founder and President, Grant Anderson, explained "The idea came from the fact that so many people inside our organization were interested in home theater, HDTV, and the equipment and technology associated with modern home entertainment. We were asking each other the same questions and sharing information on what we had learned. None of us were finding the kind of answers we were looking for. The answers we were finding came from so many different sources, and they often contradicted each other."

"Our business is providing answers to common questions that aren't otherwise being well answered. There are so many people with questions about the high definition TVs, and all the associated home theater equipment, that we saw a definite need. The topic is a common one around many homes and answers were in short supply - until now. "

Acme How To's library contains more than sixty pages of Home Theater articles and a glossary of terms. Articles cover a broad range of topics, including an explanation of the different digital television formats, a review of LCD, Plasma, DLP and LCoS television technologies, and primers on equipment and technologies used in home theater.
